The NEMA1-15 2 pin connector is approved to UL817 and CSA 22.2 standards meaning that it is suitable for use within the USA, Canada and Mexico to name a few. The IEC 60320 C7 connector, also known as a figure of 8, is an non-polarized IEC connector which fits into the IEC C8 inlet. This is rated at 2.5amps.
