This Neutrik style 6.35mm (1/4′) locking jack socket can be wired for either mono or stereo operation. It has solder terminals inside, and there is a clamping strain relief provided. The lock activates automatically with any standard jack plug, and the small red button is slid towards the rear of the chassis to release the lock.

FYI it connects a controller/programmer (RJ12) for an astronomical telescope to a digital camera (2.5mm stereo plug) to allow long exposure photographs of very faint celestial objects in the night sky.

Leads just arrived - very nice - tried them and they work a treat. I think you should have a section on your web site saying that you can make leads for early Quad stuff. There is also another company called I think "naim" they both use strange DIN / Jones types leads, and to buy from that company can cost big time.Dave Whitter
