Modular Power Leads

Our modular power leads provide the essential building blocks for flexible, scalable wiring systems. Whether you’re starting from a UK mains outlet, a European Schuko socket, or extending an existing modular run, these leads are designed to deliver safe, reliable, and compliant connections for office, commercial, and lighting installations.

Start Leads (UK & European)

UK Start Leads feature a moulded UK 3-pin plug (fused at 13?A) connected to a 3-pole modular connector. They form the starting point of a modular wiring system, safely bridging the fixed mains supply into the modular network.

European (Schuko) Start Leads use an angled Schuko CEE7/7 plug (rated 15?A max) to connect into the same modular system. The low-profile angled design makes them ideal for installations where space is limited behind desks or furniture.
Both ranges are manufactured with H05VV-F 1.5?mm² 3-core black mains cable and are available in multiple lengths to suit different layouts.

Interconnecting Leads

Interconnecting leads (often shortened to inter leads) are used to extend or link two modular connectors within the system. Unlike start leads, which bring power in from the mains, inter leads simply carry power within the modular network. Available in a wide range of lengths, they make it easy to configure desk modules, lighting runs, and distribution chains with neat, scalable wiring.

Glossary

Start Lead – The first cable in the chain, connecting a mains plug (i.e. UK or Schuko) to a 3-pole modular connector.
Inter Lead – A linking cable that extends or bridges between modular connectors inside the system.
