An American NEMA5-15P fully moulded and compliant in USA/Canada mains lead terminating to an IEC 60320 C13 kettle connector. The NEMA5-15 plug (Type B plug) used on this cable complies to UL 817 and CSA 22.2 NO21 for use in America, Canada and Mexico to name a few. This cordset is rated at 10 amps and 125 volts. The IEC 60320 C13 kettle connector complies to IEC60320-1 standards and is one of the most common if not the most common type of IEC connector in the world. This connector is used to connect computers and peripherals but not kettles, despite the common nickname referring to this connector as a kettle connector. This North American 2 metre cable is made using SVT 105 C 3X0.824mm (18AWG) 300V flex mains cable and is fast becoming the standard length for a range of American power leads.
